The 4CITY �??�?�¢??Rookie" League is a 10-week developmental program, specifically designed for our youngest players in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. It is a co-ed program, where kids are grouped by skill level as opposed to gender or grade level. The game format is competitive and fun, and will prepare players for divisional play.

For the 2020-2021 year, we will be running an online-only version of our K-2 Rookie clinics. Given the difficulties of getting young kids to adhere to social-distance protocols, we believe this age group will have a safer and better basketball experience if it�??�?�¢??s all virtual.

NOTE: If the public safety rules allow, we may add an in-person component to the weekend clinics starting in February. If this happens, we may also extend the clinics into March/April for an additional fee. gned to virtual teams who will go through the clinics together, and engage in competitions with the other teams. Teams will be led by a combination of professional coaches, and volunteer high school players.The season will run for ten weekends, starting December 5th through February 20th (excluding two weeks over Winter Break).

Clinics will run for an hour on Saturday and Sunday afternoons (times TBD based on enrollment) and players can switch which session they attend from week to week.

For our Rookies who want more basketball, for the first time ever we will offer an optional workout one afternoon each week (day/time TBD). These virtual workouts will be with a professional coach and focus on fitness and skill development.

Players can participate in the clinics in the backyard, indoors, or on the driveway/porch. They just need a ball, a hard surface, and a water bottle�??�?�¢?�??�?�¦ and an internet connection. Having a basket to shoot on is a plus but not necessary.

In the second half of the season, coaches will lead teams in virtual �??�?�¢??competitions�??�?�¢?? such as relay races and skill contests.

All players registered for this program will receive a 4CITY basketball, 4CITY shirt and 4CITY mask included with the $195 fee.
